My Future Home--hopefully

C and I just moved into a new apartment and I'm having a terrible time figuring out how to decorate the thing. I had a vague idea but when I go to garage/estate sales or look at design magazines, my clear idea I once had simply vanishes. So since I had a couple hours to bum around on the Internet today, I decided to create an idea board of what I would ultimately like my home to look like so when I feel overwhelmed I can just refer back to this post and get back on track. Rug--Flokati rug - 5x7. Ikea

Side Chair--Mexican blanket recovered mid-century mod chair. More pics here

Side Tables--Found tree stumps painted Canary Yellow

Coffee Table--Silver chest that already own...mine is much less fussy than these but you get the gist

Lamp--DIY lace doily pendant lamp. Tutorial here

Shelf--DIY shelf but instead of using thermoses, I'd just use clay pots and have a window garden. Via Design Sponge

I adore the overall look of this dining room and think I'm just going to go for it as is. Medium wood table (check), Kelly Green chairs (check), but I think I'd go for white dishes.
