Designers Block Milan

The Fabulist is covering the Milan design fair, Designers Block Milan, and I think that this one above is my favorite so far. It's the Sound/Chair by British/Columbian designer Matthew Plummer. Here's a quick description of the chair off of his website...

Sound/Chair begins as a sound that is precisely crafted to form the shape
of a chair when visualized as a 3-dimensional object using a volume, time,
frequency plot. The chair is an exact replica of the soundwave graph. The result
is a product with dual existence as both a sound and chair, and a new approach
to designing products.

There's also a sample of the sound that produced the shape of his chair on the site. Dig it.
