I simply adore This American Life. I have listened to the radio show every Sunday for years, the free online archive even more, and more recently the television show (for which dear Ira Glass had to loose 30lbs to get camera ready (small intake of breath)).
I also adore Chris Ware. McSweeney's Quarterly Concern. Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth.
So the two have come together and made beautiful music. It makes my heart sing. I was also just talking to my roomate tonight about this very subject of mistaken experiences.
